Many dentists are buying one or more practices, staffing them with associates and specialists and owning large groups in a broad geographic market. Many times, they establish satellite locations.

More specialists no longer own their own space, but are moving around general dentist offices. The economic benefits of larger size and multiple offices are here to stay. Finally, there is increasing activity with mergers, where the dentists’ location is merged into a nearby office.

We will concentrate on the New England marketplace and review the many opportunities that now exist for the dental entrepreneur and retiring dentist alike.
